"What a beautiful experience. The hotel is perfectly located in the best location with views of the piazza and the little port. Spacious room with spacious shower (can be rather small in many places). The staff was wonderful and the restaurant connected to the hotel was superb. Having been in Sicily for already 3 weeks the menu at Vela was a welcomed experience worthy of a trip there for sure. Alice and Giada and whole staff were absolutely fantastic. "Fabulous place and lovely staff"

"This is a very special place that I would highly recommend. The staff, service, food and pool are all outstanding. Very good location for visiting the sites in the local area. I very much enjoyed my stay here and look forward to returning one day."

The location was good, close to a cookery class and the Turkish stairs. The only gripe would be that the pool did not open (until 9), after breakfast."

"Very nice room. The management provided invaluable support to me as a non-Italian speaker when my motorcycle needed repairs. During the repair, I was able to stay extra nights and I was back on the road as quick as could be expected."

"an amazing spot. Loved the breakfast area and it was really nice to have a separate room for the third person instead of a bed in the same room. Breakfast was nice and the herbs were very interesting the cave/breakfast area so gorgeous. Lots of steps and the innkeepers very helpful with moving luggage and parking"

"Had to change rooms three times. The first room the AC wasn’t working and the smell was unbearable. The rooms/hotel is old, straight out of the sixties. Don’t respect anything modern, nothing. The bathroom is scary, dark, ok curtains in an old tub with a scary looking metal radiator hanging on the wall. The hotel is overrun by ants everywhere in the rooms, dinning hall areas, bars, beach, etc… the hotel staff are amazing, especially the bar staff. Leonardo, Gaetano are amazing. Unfortunately AI...
