"I can't recommend the Marsili highly enough. The property is perfectly situated just on the outskirts of Cortona center. A 5 minute walk and you are exploring a fascinating, casual, friendly, safe and fun neighborhood. Every member of the staff went out of their way to meet our needs. We loved the breakfast as it was different daily and so delicious. The rooms were large and comfortable. We sat up in bed in the morning to outstanding views of the valley. It was out of a painting. "

"Lovely villa and lovely room. A great setting with an outdoor swimming pool, attractive garden, and a more than adequate parking facility if you are travelling by car. Breakfast was excellent, well prepared with plenty of choice. An idyllic stopover in keeping with the Tuscan landscape. Could easily make this a base for touring the region although would have to drive if wanting to dine out in the evenings. "

Fijne service en lekker eten in het restaurant waar vooral in het weekend (dan is er verse vis) ook de lokale bevolking komen dineren. De eigenaar hield altijd een plekje voor mij als gast vrij. "fabulous hotel with the most beautiful aperol spritz I have ever had served by the pool, and that was only one of the wonderful things I have to say about this beautiful hotel. The staff were helpful and accomodating, breakfast in the courtyard outstanding and our room was divine. Cant recommend this property enough."
