Unlike these new self-service hotels, this hotel is the example of how a hotel should be run, with staff who are readily available, a high-quality, broad-choice breakfast, decor that is tasteful and relaxing, and clean rooms with high ceilings in a solid building. "15 minutes outside Riomaggiore, which I was worried about at first, however it was really nice to leave the busy town and the bus schedule was convenient. Large patio with amazing views. Incredible restaurant just up the street (il Borgo di campi) family owned, great food, two of the best meals we had on our trip to Italy. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful."
