We started and ended our trip to Panama with this hotel, and were so happy with both of our stays. Clean and well-maintained property, with very friendly and helpful staff. They helped us arrange a shuttle to the airport for our departure and were just very professional overall. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Thank you!

My stay with my wife was extremely comfortable. The staff was very accomadating. The food was very delicious every morning. Our room was cozy and the Air Conditioning working top notch. Hot showers every morning. The front Desk Staff help us out 💯 ,they knew how to speak English which was a plus for us. We can't wait to return back next year.

The room was clean, and the hotel was well maintained. However, the main reason I chose this hotel was the breakfast buffet, and it was a huge disappointment. I stayed for a week, and not a single day was the breakfast good. The food was poorly prepared, the eggs were cold and rubbery, the bread was stale, and there was almost no variety. Overall, the breakfast was very, very bad. Unfortunately, this experience would make me think twice before staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western El Dorado. Although more of a budget hotel, the property was very clean and relatively modern. All staff were friendly and helpful. Pool area was well-kept, and the gym was great even if it was a bit small. Other reviews rave about the breakfast: we thought it was good but not exceptional. We had a double bed room that was plenty spacious and quiet. Microwave and fridge in the room were helpful. Bathroom was small but clean and functional. A/C worked great in the room. Location was good, with several shops, convenience stores and restaurants nearby and a quick 10-15 min Uber into old town. Also a convenient pick up/drop off location for anyone going to Canal tours or wildlife excursions. Overall a great option for Panama City!

This hotel is newly renovated and now offers sleek, modern decor. Our king room was nicely furnished, well lit and had a spotless bathroom featuring a spacious shower with rain shower head. The breakfast room is cleverly separated from the lobby by glass doors which contains conversations in the breakfast room — although we never found it loud at all. The included breakfast buffet was very nice, offering a variety of hot and cold items, plus coffee, tea and juice. All staff were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again

There were some renovations happening the week I was there, so it was very noisy. The central pool looked good in the pictures, but since all rooms overlook the pool, it was noisy with little kids having fun. The gym was small but had the basics. The breakfast buffet was just okay. There was a problem with access as key cards didn't work consistently. Someone worked on the door in question, but it didn't get any better. The TGI Fridays served the lunch and dinner if you were thinking of eating there. There are other restaurants within 5-8 minute walk that were better.

We stayed three nights in this hotel. Overall this hotel is nice, clean and quite good value. The included breakfast is good. It is located in the heart of El Dorado with many restaurants, supermarkets and shops close to the hotel. El Dorado is considered to be a safe area in Panama City with a very large Chinese community. The hotel is quite close to the Panama Canal and the old town. It costed about USD 5-8 to take a taxi or UBER from the hotel to the old town.
