Pensions in Panamá Oeste Province

"This place might have been nice 10-15 years ago but it’s in desperate need of a complete makeover!! It’s a totally rundown property. They have basically zero amenities besides a few old kayaks, and overused board games in the lobby area. The pools are tiny and crowded and the lounge chairs are really gross and dirty. They could not possibly be more any more worn out and uncomfortable. The hotel actually allowed some rude guests to come out early in the AM to place towels or personal items, placing a hold over the very small number of chairs with any shade. Many of which remained unused the entire day. The location is terrible because there is absolutely nothing nearby to do. The commute to the property from downtown or Casco Viejo after 4.00 takes 2 hours plus due to extreme traffic conditions and it’s the same going into town in the morning if you are planning a trip into downtown or anywhere be prepared. The staff were all very nice, but this is the worst ‘resort’ I’ve ever stayed in. They should change the name from Dreams to Nightmares!"

"Place was great overall. Pool is very large. The rooms are great, all with balconies facing the ocean and kitchenettes well equipped. There is a little store next to the hotel which is great for snacks and even food to cook in the kitchenettes. Not too expensive either. The staff are nice but not very helpful. I connected with them through WhatsApp and I was then handed off to the “experience manager” who took 3 days to respond and then was not very helpful after that either. We were staying as a surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday, I told the front desk and experience manager via WhatsApp and asked if there was anything small that we could arrange for her birthday. I was presented with only one option which was a very expensive private dinner on the beach. After I said that I couldn’t afford that there was nothing else. No little chocolates on the pillows, no card on the bed, or voucher for a free cocktail. No one even said happy birthday to her when we were checking in or eating dinner in the restaurant on the day. They were there to help when you needed them but they really didn’t seem interested in doing much beyond the bare minimum. (Other than writing happy birthday on the plate after I told them it was her birthday again and ordered dessert). Overall beautiful resort, slightly hard to get to, and average service experience."

"Okay I knew i only did breakfast and not all inclusive but it took forever to get a drink by the pool, someone walked by maybe every 30 minutes. There's really not any activities or shows but met some friendly staff V from water aerobics and C (I think) from Karaoke. Only ordered lunch once but it was tasteless. My thermostat was broken and even after several comaints was not fixed properly so had sleep in socks was beyond freezing. Matenience made it hard to relax by the pool with the loudness from tools... hottub was cold... looks like they’re upgrading buildings and other areas. Overall staff was friendly although most spoke only minimum English and property clean but wouldn't stay again. "

"Beautiful small hotel ocean front, right on the sand! Our room was amazing and the outdoor shower was a bonus! It had a nice deck as well. The beach was large with salt & pepper sand and practically empty. There are lounge chairs with thatched umbrellas on the property by the private beach entrance. Plenty of on-site parking. Only thing I would change would be to add a small table & chairs as there's no place to sit in the room except on the high, comfy bed! AC worked great! FYI there's no elevator to the second/third floor but the staircase is beautiful! Would definately stay again! "

"They were extremely friendly, there is so much to do for the low cost. Swimming, pool table , ping pong, volleyball. The room was nice and the breakfast was exquisite. I wish we could have stayed longer. We strongly recommend it. You will not regret. "
