"A big shout out to the staff which work here, very often you will stay somewhere and you’ll encounter 1 or 2 excellent staff with the rest just doing their job. This was not our experience at the Priory, every single member of staff acknowledged us with a friendly smile and an attentive attitude. "When we arrived at the hotel-initial impressions were mixed. But, staff were very efficient and helpful. Our room was spacious with a view of the gardens. The shower was over the bath which is a negative for us but we were advised that a renewal project is in place to provide walk in showers. Both the cafe and the restaurant food were good. The pool and jacuzzi were out of service during our stay which was disappointing. Overall we would go back. Should also mention the stunning water feature outside."

"Our suite room was large and clean albeit pretty basic. That said, the food at dinner was very good and the breakfast too, with friendly serving staff. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna and changing rooms etc need a modern refresh, but the hotel is very reasonably priced and only a few minutes drive from the start of the Pen Y Fan walking trail so all in all a decent choice."
