"The place is basically Costa Rica on a budget . The amenities are ok . The rooms are down a hill that you have to wait for a car to come get you or you walk which is very inconvenient especially if you are with children because having to go up and down to go eat etc . The food is not great and very limited it’s basically 2 proteins some rice and salad . Not really buffet at all . More like school cafeteria style . If your looking to just stay at the hotel I wouldn’t recommend but if you need somewhere cheap to stay and your gonna eat out etc then it’s a good spot to stay. Also the rooms are clean and staff is friendly and very helpful. Pool is nice too and the view is great "
"The restaurant seating system is the worst I’ve seen. You have to line up at 5:10 to even get a table at any point that night. Old school magnetic stripe room keys frequently de-magnetize. Rooms are dated. Staff is great. "
"The front desk staff go above and beyond anytime I have stayed here. They were so helpful with my pets and baggage (I was overwhelmed with a new rescue puppy and my other dog and suitcases).
Also I love their breakfast buffet! Quick tip- if you take the super early shuttle to check in at the airport you can take it back for a quick breakfast. :)
All in all i absolutely love this hotel and all its staff. Highly highly recommend. "
