"Amazing - if you are interested in the last few hundred years of U.S. History, I'd put this one on your list of places to visit. Just a great experience. Out of the innumerable artifacts dating back to the end of the 18th century, I particularly was taken back by the original copy of a page from April 15th, 1865 - I didn't have time to see everything. The property's stewards will most likely offer a tour and they are really nice folks. I thought this location was aggressively under priced. "

"The hotel was very nice. The staff were kind and helpful. I really appreciated the shuttle picking me up at the car rental building. I did let them know that there were several cracked tiles in the bathroom, and some were uneven. Other than that, my stay was great! "

"We absolutely love how affordable and family friendly Basswood Resort is. They have fun activities everyday for all ages, among there many fishing ponds, swimming pool, playgrounds, dog park, nature trails and so on. We will be making yearly trips here😀"

"It was a great stay. One of two elevators down caused a bit of a bottleneck and they stopped refilling breakfast a bit early for the crowd size, but overall it was nice and I'd recommend."
