"Beautiful rooms! Steps to beach, nice pool, free breakfast delivered to room. Great location - walkable to the restaurants/shops but also quiet. Best find in Tamarindo!"
"I liked that it was beside the beach and an op close to nearby shops and great food options off of hotel property. It was a quiet and relaxing hotel. Howler monkeys and lots of iguanaswere hanging out on the property. "

"I had the perfect stay at Surfo house in tamarindo! I was very comfortable I even extended my stay. The areas are clean, the kitchen has everything you need, the store is conveniently located just downstairs, the beach is just 3 minutes walking distance, close to all restaurants, shops, even the bus station is right there. "We had minor issues with AC being always on, and the thermostats not kicking in. There was also a clog in the AC unit and cause leaking from the ceiling.
The road to the resort needs work. There is a 10 minute stretch that’s really nerve wracking if you are coming in for the first time when it’s dark, and you worry about the damage to the vehicle.
Other than that, it’s a great place and does deserve all the 5-stars. "

"This is a great property and Juan, our host while on site, served us great breakfasts and was extremely polite and accommodating with any needs or desires. I love this property and will be staying there again and as often as possible. There is some construction on both sides of the hotel that might bother some, but it just wasn’t an issue for us. We were out exploring, beaching, and surfing during the day. Rooms, parking, and proximity to town were fantastic! "
