I chose this hotel for a cheap, basic one nights stay close to the Gare du Nord.
I was completely satisfied, it was about a 10 minute walk from the station. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and basic and perfect for my requirements.
Continental Breakfast was included in my room rate and again was no frills but more than adequate.
I would stay here again.
Basic hotel in good location. Comfortable beds but no AC and not enough outlets in the room. Breakfast was basic but enough to start the day. Staff was friendly and helpful.
a one night stay before taking the train to London, just 10 mins from the station. Very comfortable room, shower, and a lift to our 3rd floor room - always a bonus.
All in all, good place to stay in Paris for a few days, on a cheap. Very good mattress, acceptable bathroom and clean towels every day, on the positive. Small space, mini elevator, and no free coffee are on the negative.

Radiator stuck on and heating on, all night, did complain and the 2nd day totally off and not able to turn on. Bathroom extractor didn't work so condensation morning and evening, no WiFi, and one English news channel would have been nice. Safe broken so had to carry everything around with us. Double glazing good, barely heard any road noise. Seemed to hear everything going on around us including the automatic door slamming from six in the morning. Would not stay again.

It is close to Gare Du Nord, only 11min walk, so there’s a lot food restaurants that are open late.
Staff were friendly. Not speaking French was an issue. Room clean as was the bathroom. Was easy to get around when you were aware of the closest metro station . Buy a day pass for metro makes it so much easier. Great restaurants near by. Hotel breakfast was sufficient to start your day. Everything fresh!!
Hotel Paris Opera
Our hotel in Paris was not as advertised. No internet except in the lobby. Nothing in the guestrooms for the entire 2 weeks we stayed at the hotel.. No telephone system from guestrooms to the front desk. In fact, no phone in the rooms at all. If I wanted to discuss anything with the front desk I had to go to the lobby and find the manager. My friends and business associates could not reach me at all. Renovations were going on every day of the 2 weeks we were there. Lot's of noise and sometimes the 3 person elevator was shut down because of construction. No air conditioning, no microwave, refrigerator or even coffee maker. No ice available. Elevator did not go to the 5th floor. We had to walk up and carry everything from level 4 to 5. There is no bell staff. Very light on room cleaning. DON'T assume anything before you actually book. Do a lot of research and confirm everything. For what we received,I deserve a refund.
The positive side is that it is a great location and if you lean out of the balcony you can see the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The desk staff was as helpful as possible as senior management allowed. Some of the staff were new hires and learning about the hospitality industry.
We recently stayed at the Hôtel de Paris Opéra during a family trip to Paris. The hotel does have one significant advantage: it is located very close to several metro stations. This is excellent because you'll want to spend as little time in the hotel as humanly possible, and the transportation options make your escape remarkably convenient.
We stayed in Room 602 on the sixth floor. Upon entering, we discovered that the room came with a complimentary sewage odour. While some hotels offer chocolates on the pillow, Hôtel de Paris Opéra has chosen to create a more immersive sensory experience. The smell was ever-present throughout our stay, but opening the bathroom door elevated it from "unpleasant" to "possible chemical weapons violation."
Each trip to the bathroom became a small test of courage. I eventually developed a system involving cologne-sprayed toilet paper held over my nose like a makeshift gas mask. This was not entirely effective, but it did provide the comforting illusion that I was making an effort to survive.
The bathroom itself had additional surprises. At one point, the ceiling tile above the shower detached and crashed onto the floor. Thankfully, it happened while nobody was in the room. It's nice to know the hotel believes in providing excitement, but I generally prefer my accommodations to stop short of introducing random overhead hazards.
When we reported the situation to the owner, he explained that the hotel only had two family suites
The staff's attitude is the best, the hotel leaves a lot to be desired, if it weren't for them I would only give it one star.

Beds, shower, toilet, everything you want for a weekend in Paris. Only thing is there was moist on the walls and a couple of bugs, but no bedbugs or something.
Good, cheap choice for a nice stay.
Too expensive for two stars hotel, contruction while staying there, good location indeed, friendly staff, and good bathrroms and beds. They need to work in the cleaness of the hotel overall.
