The staff is very kind and friendly and always present. Rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Area is great to stay in, close to Gare de Lyon and metro stations. Would highly recommend this hotel!

What a lovely little hotel! Very clean, quiet, and comfortable bed. The gentleman at the front desk that I had the pleasure to check in and out with was super kind and helpful. I felt very welcome.

Hotel de Venise is a small property in walking distance from the Gare de Lyon. Some rooms are quite small, but every room I have stayed in (I've been visiting this hotel for a decade) is immaculate, and the bathrooms are large and ultra modern. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

Stayed here to catch the train at Garo de Lyon. The walk was a little further than expected especially if traveling with luggage but overall great 1 night stay. Staff were very helpful and welcoming and provided us with detailed instructions along with a map. Room was small with no AC but luckily we stayed in March when it was still cool outside so we were able to prop the window open. Restaurants were also all walking distance with great choices all around. Would recommend to anyone looking for a short stay.

The location is convenient. The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. However, the single room is deceiving from the picture (the picture makes the room looked so much spacious.) But the single room is extremely small. The pillows smelled really bad. Thanks God I was only there for one night. The friendly, helpful staffs made up for the inconvenient.

Overall a great place to stay. It's super close to the train station and the main street where you'll have an abundance of tech, clothing, and food to shop around for. The room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels each day and new bedsheets every other day. An elevator is provided and breakfast is offered for a fee (although, we didn't choose it so nothing to say). Some downsides were how small the shower was and how easy it is to hear noise from outside the windows and door. The shower is only big enough for a grown adult to turn around on the spot. You'd have to carefully move your arms around to avoid knocking elbows into the walls and shower doors. It is also very easy to hear noise from outside the door and windows. There are some bars and restaurants opened late around the adjacent streets so any loud conversations can seep through. Regardless, it was an overall very pleasant stay and we would definitely choose to stay at the place again if given the choice.

Just a short walk from the Gard de Lyon and ideal if taking a train the next morning. Great room with all you need in a very pleasant area with bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

My experience was good! The room was clean, they clean it every day, the staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. The area is good, the breakfast was great too. Definitely I will comeback if I travel again to Paris. I totally recommend it!!
