"For the most part, our stay was enjoyable at Ocean Allure. As beautiful and as lovely the staff are at the resort, we personally would not come back. Super friendly staff who go above a beyond. Isai at the main pool bar, Alessa at guest services, and Jason in the buffet area stood out the most to us. We loved the food at the restaurants! Do expect an average 45 minute wait to get into the restaurants as there is no dinner buffet. Breakfast/lunch buffet was usually good. There was the odd two times we found undercooked items. Lots of room in the pools and they were always kept clean. We got lucky on our first three days with minimal sargassum on the beach and had a great time swimming in the ocean. The sargassum doesn’t get cleaned throughout the day like we saw at other neighbouring resorts though. This is partially our fault for not doing extra research. We didn’t realize there was more minimal transportation options to get into town from this area. There’s no bus that comes out this far and taxi/uber costs added up quickly if you wanted to leave the resort. The main reason we won’t be coming back is the shuttle/excursion company that is partnered with this resort (Trafic Tours). The staff of this company in the lobby were VERY pushy towards us, we got overcharged heavily, and lied to multiple times. Unfortunately, this ruined a large portion of our vacation. "

"Been to 20+ Mexican resorts in my life. This is literally my favorite. Stayed 5 nights and wanted to cry I dint book longer. All staff was utterly incredible. So friendly and helpful. I want to give a particular shoutout to Stelian and Gustavo who went above and beyond to make this literally my favorite resort. Steakhouse and Indian were my favorite, but all restaurants were good. Has my favorite layout and design of any resort I’ve been too. It’s clean and smells fresh at all times. "

"I have stayed at Secrets Akamai and Moroma, which are both amazing. Playa Blanca is my favorite. Great food and the staff was amazing. The property is gorgeous during the day, but the paths through the garden all lit up was incredible. There are so many areas to just sit and take the beauty in at night. Plenty of live music every night. We had great service at Seaside Grill, Victor, Roberto, Alberto, Sixto and Odet took incredible care of us. We went there every day because my wife has specific food requests and they always went out of their way to accommodate us. Victor was awesome at the Italian restaurant. A shout out to Marcelo and Hugo at the beach, there was never a need that was not covered by them. We will return."
