"It is clearly an older property. But the rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, even though it is right off 101 it was quiet, the bathrooms are stocked with very nice towels, unlike what you usually find in less expensive motels. The showers were warm and had good water flow but could use an upgrade (but they were clean). I stayed for three mights while on a hunting trip and will stay there again. San Miguel is pretty much a wide spot on highway 101 just north of Paso Robles. Our double room was well under $100/night. Since we were out all day the lack of amenities like a pool or breakfast."
