"A beautiful place to stay and one of our favourite hotels of the trip. The chalet is gorgeous, with a lovely outdoor pool and a really cosy, comfortable room. The staff were also warm and friendly throughout our stay.
It’s a little out of town, but that’s actually part of its charm, it’s incredibly peaceful and quiet, while still being close enough to get into Beaune easily.
The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, which is worth bearing in mind, although breakfast is available and they can provide other food on request. The bar is also very well stocked, which is a nice touch.
We rented bikes from the hotel for €20 for the day. They’re fairly basic but perfectly adequate for exploring the surrounding area and getting into Beaune.
The only small criticism would be that the bathroom could do with a little more hanging space, there weren’t really anywhere to hang bath towels, for example.
Overall, a beautiful, peaceful and characterful place to stay. We’d happily return."
