"We were only able to get two single beds, which was a bit of a disappointment, in the room had a funny smell, which seemed to be in the carpet. On the positive side, the beds were super comfortable, and the breakfast was adequate and as expected."

"Our room at The Evangeline was perfect - spacious, comfortable, and clean! Check in was stressful - the code they emailed didn’t work… luckily we found a staff person who let us in. We didn’t take advantage of the pool or hot tub, but lots of folks did! We enjoyed two breakfasts and two dinners at the Hotel’s Longfellow restaurant. Wait staff was excellent - food delicious!"

"Overall its a great staff and clean, renovated property. The pool needs to be regrouted as the grout is now brown when it was originally white. 2 hot tubs are necessary and fabulous no complaints. We had a handy accessible room on main floor. We did not request this as we are not in need of that type of room. Room was renovated and in good order. However the shower has no way of keeping the water in the shower as its very poorly designed for a wheelchair. The room floods a ton when you try to shower (took 9 pool towels to clean up the mess every single time we showered). They need a very long extra drain along the exterior of the shower to stop any and all water from leaving the shower area. The beds need to all be a queen or king only (Double beds are too small for most people especially a couple). Black out blinds get stuck and fall off the wall so should be replaced with a more efficient and easy system (especially in the handy accessible room) The restaurant prices are very high for the food they serve. No kids menu. We hope these changes are made cuz its a wonderful hotel but it can be better. Thank you for the lovely stay."

"A wonderful place to stay—I highly recommend it! We loved the property, with cozy spaces to relax, a front porch with rocking chairs, a heated pool, and a charming common room. Our top-floor room was perfect with a beautiful bathroom, table area, small fridge, our own dry sauna—a perfect treat after a day of exploring. The location was ideal for discovering the Bay of Fundy, including Joggins Fossil Centre, Three Sisters, and Cape d’Or. Breakfast in the sunny dining room was a highlight, and we enjoyed meeting fellow travellers from around the world. Our host was warm, welcoming, and full of great local recommendations. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return!"
