"We got a room with a balcony view of the Avalon port. The breeze was nice. It was a clean room, and the staff was very friendly and polite. The breakfast was good, with self-service options and also a kitchen staff ready to prepare omelets. It is a quiet place with nice views. The check-in and check-out were very easy. To go from the hotel to the Avalon downtown, we always have transportation at no cost, in both directions until 10:00 pm. In any case, you can walk in about 15 minutes; you are in downtown."

"Cute hotel, easy check in. Arrived early and they were able to accommodate us immediately. They had a mini fridge that worked very well. Kept our food cold all 6 days we were there. Although they do not provide breakfast, there is a restaurant on the premises, but just like the hotel, it could use a deep cleaning. Their pool would benefit of the same. They will provide you with beach towels that are paper thin. I guess something is better than nothing. The shuttle is very convenient. Their drivers are kind and helpful."

"Our stay was delightful. The only thing that happened out of the ordinary was the TV came on by itself, as well as the light. The fan would also turn off on its own. Haunted, or excellent remotes from another room? All in all we recommend here."

"They had Champagne in our room for our 40th anniversary, chocolates and turndown every night. Friendly and responsive staff. Helped set up a taxi for day of check out as well as recommended a great place for massages and other fun activities. Already planning our next trip back."

"The rooms were very clean. I left my cell phone behind and management contacted me right away. ALMA and JESSICA took the time out of their busy day to go to UPS and overnight my cellphone to me. I never met such kind-hearted staff. They went far beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone.Also, the view was amazing and location was the best this will be the only place I will be staying when I travel CATALINA ISLAND"
