"The property is set in a lovely location, which wasn’t an issue obviously. Our problem was, and this maybe a communication issue, but on the Expedia website it said we couldn’t check in until 4pm. No problem. We had also booked an evening meal as we’d of crossed the Channel and driven 300 miles by the time we’d of arrived at the B&B. "Beautiful old chateau. Very comfy beds.
No one around when we arrived. Had to wander the grounds looking for someone to check us in. We were offered a soft drink when the lady finally arrived. Never met the owners during our two days stay. We presumed they must be on holiday. Previous reviews were not the same as our experience. "
