"Room was small, floor had a serious creek, door didn’t fit properly, daylight thru all the cracks. Room was clean, staff were nice, it was just a very cheap, cramped, inexpensive little room."
"We loved this cute little cabin. It had a coffee shop in the main lobby cabin and a very good pizza place right next door. The staff were very friendly."
"The Standard Best Western offers a prime location near Bryce, making it a great choice for your stay. While it could benefit from some updates, the delicious breakfast buffet is a highlight, and the hotel's rich history adds a unique charm."
"Excellent room - I had the Capitol Reef 2 bed suite with kitchenette. Fully equipped with cutlery/crockery/pans etc and I always appreciate it when the hotel includes salt/pepper/cooking oil etc. They serve a top-notch breakfast with cooked food and delicious pastries. Escalante is great if you're travelling to Devil's Garden, Calf creek falls, Kodachrome basin, Escalante bridge etc."
"Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.
First, the front desk staff was not friendly at all. When I asked, “Can I check in?”, the lady at the front desk somehow responded with “Restroom?”, which was very confusing. I’m not sure what caused the misunderstanding, but the interaction felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. The entire check-in process felt rushed and unpleasant. She spoke extremely fast and showed no patience, without caring whether I could understand her or not.
Second, when I asked if it was possible to switch to a room on the first floor, she didn’t even check availability and immediately said no. It didn’t feel like she was willing to help at all.
Finally, the soundproofing in the rooms is very poor. That night, my child wasn’t feeling well and we wanted to go to bed early. We called the front desk around 9:30 PM about the noise, and they told us quiet hours start at 10 PM. However, even after 10 PM, the noise continued. We could clearly hear footsteps from upstairs, as well as flushing and water running.
The only positive aspect was the breakfast — there was a good variety of options, and it was quite enjoyable.
If you are looking for a quiet place to rest, this is not a good choice."
