"My wife is very critical anytime I book a stay. She normally likes to stay at the Myrtle Beach Oceanwatch by Marriott. After this trip she quickly said that we will be coming back and staying longer. The pool was amazing, not just the wife and kids, but for me as well. I normally don’t get in the community pools because of overcrowding, but they had several pool areas which made it much more accessible. The lazy river loop was a hit. "The hotel looks nothing like the pictures on the website. This hotel is old and smell old. Our room said pool views and it was not plus it smelled awful. The front staff said they saw pool view on our reservation so they moved us down a floor still same view. Breakfast was described as on of the best in the area, it was actually the worse breakfast. The remote did not work for the tv, despite all of that, every staff member we encountered was extremely nice and helpful."

"The overall condo is very nice. The room could be updated with updated furniture and paint. The AC worked very well. Beds were comfortable. The couch was not comfortable and worn, as well as balcony furniture. There was a dirty washcloth left on the shower curtain rod, which means the shower curtain was not cleaned or it would have been seen when taking down. It was a thin, cotton washable shower curtain that is not able to be cleaned other than wash. The pool area was clean and well maintained."

Ourselves and several other travelers had to wait almost an hour and a half for house keeping to supposedly put towels in the rooms.. let’s be real here, (the rooms still needed to be cleaned..)When we finally got in the room the bed wasn’t even made! "The house is very nice and welcoming and in a convenient place to everything. It’s also in a nice quiet neighborhood. There are no locks on the bathroom doors but it’s not an issue if everyone knows beforehand not to just barge in if the door is closed."
