"Really enjoyed our stay at Voco. Lovely hotel; great room which was modern, spacious and comfortable. Good facilities with nepresso coffee machine and eco friendly pods. Good sized bathroom with big shower. Huge bed which was comfortable. Only negative was some noise coming from a nearby bar which was pretty loud, particularly as we were on the 8th floor."

"Absolutely great for the price we paid. Don’t be put off my the building, it is quite an old block, but it’s fine. The rooms were clean and comfy. Paid £2 at reception for overnight parking. Staff very welcoming & a bar with a pool table. Just a £10 taxi into the city. "

"No laundry or dry cleaning service, contrary to their Expedia listing. Despite having a very elegant lobby, the room was average, not a lot of furnishings, bed mattress was quite firm like most of the hotels I stayed in during my extended visit to the UK."

"Absolutely beautiful stay here in the city, the first time I have stayed here and we wish we had more time at the hotel! Staff made the experience 10/10, very attentive and friendly. Room in beautiful condition, great amenities and the gym has to be the best hotel gym I’ve used, great equipment, two full squat racks and recovery area for post was an absolute bonus! Breakfast was a great end to our stay, will 100% be back! "

"Great location...5 minutes from train station. Modern good size room with sofa and great bed. Fabulous Air Conditioning especially pleasing on hottest day of year! Good quality toiletries but complimentary tea, coffee selection was very limited with no biscuits. Shame as everything was else was great! Would recommend but take your own biccies!!"

"Only glitch was breakfast It was a busy morning but the food was not of a good standard and staff could not keep up with demand. Queued and waited for a long time for hash browns which came out undercooked, no white bread for toast. Shame but this would not put me off staying again "

"Thoroughly excellent one night stay, staff all super friendly and helpful, lovely clean well equipped room. Breakfast booked when we arrived and it was excellent quality super tasty and excellent value as a vegetarian (no eggs either) it was great to have a choice, mushrooms on aourdough was beautiful, hubby a full English was delicious too. Without a doubt we will be back next time we are in Manchester. "

" Whilst the rooms have all amenities for a short stay, they would be excellent for a longer stay, as there is a kitchen facility included. The 24hr reception is invaluable, especially if you need an early flight. "
