"What a beautiful room in a beautiful hotel! It sits above several restaurants on the private third floor. The building is like a cross between a Victorian and the New Orleans French quarter. As old as the building must be, it is fully modernized with every amenity while maintaining its classic charm. The bathroom is amazing. There’s an oversized shower with an overhead rainfall shower head AND a detachable shower head with massager on the wall. And a separate soaking bathtub. Don’t even get me started on the toilet with the multi setting bidet and heated seat!"

"The check in was easy and staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the PSU campus and a very easy drive. The rooms are a little dated, but they are very clean and well maintained. Restaurants are within walking distance, with one right next door, and a number more within 2 miles. For being on a busy street, the room was very quite. Adjustments to the heat were simple, unlike some newer hotels. The hotel is also within a half mile of a nice walking trail and bike trail. Both seemed to be well used by runners and walkers. I enjoyed the stay. "

From the moment you walked into the lobby, the floors gleamed, the air smelled fresh, and everything felt orderly and well-maintained. The room was spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and move around comfortably. The layout was well-designed, with enough room for luggage, lounging, and getting ready without ever feeling crowded. The staff was welcoming and very attentive to our needs. Both the staff and fellow guests were kind and greeted our dog with a smile or stopped by to admire her."
