There’s around the Hotel is very out of sorts, just a Tavern, Gas and another small inn but the tavern had good music etc! I would definitely stay again in the future when I visit Delaware! 16 minutes apart!"

"Elevator not working upon arrival and staff did not make us aware until after check in. My wife has health problems. I could barely make it up the steps had we known upon check-in about the elevator not working we rebooked a new room and they charge security deposit without telling us anything."

"My problem was with Expedia, there was a major snow storm arriving that night. We had a six hour drive home. The hotel said they would be fine with refunding me the second night and I should call Expedia as it was you I booked through. Try as might I could not get through your AI assisted customer service as my questions did not align with your preordained question selection. So unless you want to do the right thing I’m out $200 + dollars. Not a happy Expedia customer… "

"The Inn at Monchanin Village is a group of cottages and not your typical hotel per se. Registration is at the main office, or as they call it, The Barn. I was a little confused at first but can honestly say that I loved my stay there. Staff is friendly and caring. and my cozy little room / cottage was perfect for my needs. I could walk to "The Barn" and call a lyft or Uber to go wherever I needed / wanted to go. Was perfect for me. Room was kept clean but you need to let them know if you want...

To top things off, the front desk girl and her manger are rude and unsympathetic. Not even a polite apology. Just stared at me expressionless. Really odd vibe. Have stayed at many Courtyards before and they’re generally clean and well kept, but this one looked like a complete dump outside and in the lobby.
