I love this property and stay every summer. The property is undergoing fairly extensive renovations to the outdoor areas which is in my opinion why families in general come to stay. I was placed in an unrenovated room with zero access to the grass space which really would have defeated the purpose of the trip. I was met with staff that weren’t initially understanding when I asked to be moved but eventually they found us a space on the inside of the property and all turned out well. If you are going be ware that grass is just being replaced, the hot tub area is completely renovated but not open yet and one entire area of the hotel smells of manure. All in all it was a great trip and stay but we were only told the hot tub wasn’t working yet and not about all of the other work etc. More honesty up front would have kept our expectations where they should have been vs feeling really let down and frustrated upon arrival. Thankfully they moved us into a great space, we made new friends and had a wonderful trip.
