"We had the best time at Villa Jwi Lavi! It was in a quiet gated community, but very close to restaurants, shops and beaches. We rented a car and there were plenty of spaces for parking. Our hosts were kind and accommodating! The room was spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and sea. I definitely recommend this wonderful place! "

"The room good, very clean.the kitchen was not good. No coffee pot, only espresso. You had to hold the toaster down manually. Only 1 outlet so you could only use1 appliance at a time.no hot water in the sink. The hotel itself was clean but the whole surrounding area was littered with rubbish. "

"Hotel is in a beautiful setting. Beach not crowded. Lots of beach chairs. We stayed in a 3rd floor room with a kitchen and loft. Had a problem with all the stairs--I missed any mention that this type of room was on the third floor. I would have booked something on the first floor if I had known. "Very nice property nested in a secluded part of St Martin. Right on the beach with all the amenities for a wonderful stay. The swimming pool is rather small, which didn’t bother us as the beach area is vast. Staff absolutely excellent (from front office staff, to beach staff and waiters), rooms (more like mini apartments) are amazing with all the necessary comforts. If we return to St Martin, it will be back there!"

"This was our first time staying on the French side, at Esmeralda. Overall, it is a decent resort; it consists of small villages, each containing four guest rooms. The rooms themselves are spacious and clean, and every village shares a swimming pool among its four units. The resort grounds feature a French restaurant serving very delicious food. "We loved the Azure. Mike is an excellent host and the cleaning staff is friendly and efficient. You will get to know everyone before you leave. We enjoyed the Tourtoises in the courtyard, and we especially loved the sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach. We stayed at 3 different places in St. Martin’s and this was our favourite. "This resort was an enormous disappointment and felt like a complete misrepresentation of what was advertised. The beach was one of the biggest letdowns there was very little actual beach space, and it was not swimmable, which completely undermines the vacation experience. The pool chairs were extremely uncomfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was dreary and uninspired. Everything was beige and generic, with the feel of a Midwest airport hotel rather than a luxury Caribbean...

"Holland house was a nice stay but we were disappointed with the breakfast that’s included. The breakfast would take us almost an hour to get and to top it off the breakfast would come out cold after waiting all that time. But besides that the hotel is a good place to stay for a couple of days.."
