"Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms"

"St Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive.
Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing...

"Nice kind of quaint older style hotel with a large guest relaxing lounge on the first floor BUT lots of steps up and down depending on your room location. Older potential guests should discuss this with the hotel before booking. Initially booked in a room with a couple of foul-mouthed noisy lads next door and door open. Made an early decision to ask for relocation which was arranged and ended up with a quiet room as we had lots of ground to cover the next day. Breakfast was good and all staff...
"Easy check in and loads of parking. The room was absolutely amazing, we were outside so felt like being in a cabin overlooking the garden. Bathroom was huge and clean. Went to the bar in the evening and the service was great. Can't fault this hotel"
