"Das Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak ist ein wunderschönes, gepflegtes Hotel zu einem sehr guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis (in der Nebensaison!) Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und wurden jederzeit sehr zuvorkommend und höflich bedient. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist gigantisch und hat die Note hervorragend verdient. Wir können das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Einziges Manko: Das Meer ist in Bangsak in der Regenzeit sehr wild und man kann kaum baden. "

"Far from anything but an excellent beach and the most amazing pool I have ever seen. A huge collection of lagoons canals and big pools plus kiddie pools. Our room had direct access to a chest high canal type pool which connected to the huge central pool. Lots of eating choices including inexpensive non-hotel Thai eateries adjacent to the beach. Det ligger lidt ude men hotellet byder på smukke omgivelser, god mad og et fantastisk personale. Hotellet er gode til at hjælpe med transport og hvad man ellers skulle have brug for under opholdet. "We loved everything about our stay and the property. We would never again book through Expedia because they are not an honest company. They say your payment will not go through until 30 days before your stay but then charge it immediately and send you a confirmation and and say any cancellations are not refundable. They also blame it on Outrigger Hotel that they do not refund for cancellations. This is not true - they just keep the extra money and do not send it to the hotel. This is bad...
