"Where do I even begin? My stay at Sonder Hotel in Ksamil was nothing short of exquisite, a family-run boutique where you feel the care and attention to detail from the moment you arrive. The room was beautifully appointed with automatic blackout curtains, a stunning bathroom with full wall mirror, vanity beauty mirror, marble double sinks, and a spacious shower. The bedroom, balcony, pool area, and wider facilities were equally impressive. The food deserves a special mention. Chef Jev’s attention to detail was impeccable, every dish made fresh, full of flavour, and the team were happy to accommodate special requests and dietary requirements too. Breakfast was included and so delicious that despite being walking distance from Ksamil Beach, local bars, restaurants and a supermarket, I rarely ate anywhere else! What truly sets this hotel apart is the people. The family and staff were always warm, always on hand, and always willing to go the extra mile. As a first-time visitor to Albania on a birthday trip, they made me feel completely at home and even kindly accommodating a later checkout because I simply wasn’t ready to leave. "Our stay at Vila Pasqyra this summer was excellent! Great hospitality, run by a very kind family! They made my sister’s birthday very special and the views from our room were spectacular! I would 100% recommend Vila Pasqyra to anyone visiting Sarande/Ksamil as it’s perfectly nestled in between both cities. "

"Super comfortable beds in a modern, newly furnished hotel. Very happy with the room quality. The pool area is excellent however there are not enough sun loungers for the large number of guests in peak season. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, however you need more coffee options or a machine. Tap water is not safe to drink in Ksamil, and usually 4* hotels would provide a bottle of water with each daily room clean, however this hotel did not. You are forced to walk down the road to the shop, or pay 2 euros for 20cl in the minibar. Not ideal! The staff are amazing, it's run by a big family and they are all friendly, with the younger team speaking great English. Location is great, only a 10min walk down to the main strip for restaurants/nightlife, but still far enough for quiet relaxation. I think all hotels are expensive in Ksamil during peak season (July/August) but I was happy overall with Lord's Hotel, mostly due to the beauty of Ksamil. I hope to return someday!"
