"Very basic. Great walking location into the cute small town."

"We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean. The bed was super comfortable. There was plenty of parking. The downtown area was walking distance from where we stayed. Only negative was that they ran out shampoo and body wash for the wall dispenser."

"Booked a king suite and upon arrival, there were someone’s clothes in the closet. There was hair strands under the covers. Made me wonder if they even cleaned the room. The room was facing the woods and there was a man out walking his dog stopped and stared through my window. The fireplace didn’t work. And not good tv channels. The internet was terrible. The next morning I went to the lobby around 6:45 and waited. There was no one at the desk until 7:30. I didn’t feel comfortable staying...

"The hotel was beautiful and historic. The town was an expensive tourist trap with outrageous food prices. The front desk was sporadically manned."

"Good stay in Cambria but could do with some improvements. The TV didn't work in our room. The bathroom barely has a privacy curtain and there's another hotel right beside that can see right in. The room was comfortable and it's in a very quiet area."

"This was a great hotel. The room was nice and clean. We had plenty of clean towels and the in room coffee was very good. The bathroom had nice soap, lotion and amenities. The only negative things were the windows that were difficult to open and the cushions on the chair that were very old. I wished we had more time as it was in a great location."

"Hotel needed some maintenance dog friendly beware the pool is gorgeous but not open!! You have to go to another property 2-3 miles away if you want to use the pool."

The house and gardens are lovely and whimsical right in town walking distance to cute stores and restaurants. A great place to stay if you are going to the Hearst Castle."

"We had a wonderful stay at Cavalier Oceanfront. The property was very clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful location right by the ocean. The sunset views were absolutely perfect and one of the highlights of our stay. The room was well maintained, and we really appreciated the nice minibar and thoughtful amenities. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience with a great location, beautiful ocean...

"What a beautiful setting right on Moonstone beach, feet away from the small boardwalk and beach/cliffs. Some rooms have beautiful ocean views. They are slowly remodeling the rooms and we were in one of the newly redone ones. It was very spacious with extremely high-end finishes and tastefully done. Bed was very comfortable with pillowtop. Bathrooms were beautiful. Once all the rooms are completed I'm sure this will be a top destination."
