"We liked that we were on the 1st floor ,it was convenient for us. Didn't like that our card key didn't work . And then when we got in our room the tv didn't work, and had to change rooms. And they don't have breakfast on Saturday morning."

"It was perfectly what I expected. Not a Hilton but a cheap Motel to get some good sleep at. All bedding and towels were clean. Rooms very clean. Could use updated but sounds like they are renovating. I will stay again."

"We were very disappointed in our stay. We got there at midnight and given a key that wouldn’t work. We went back and forth twice before realizing they gave us an already occupied room. Then instead of getting a king size room that I reserved we were given a 2 queen bed that smelled of cigarettes. The shower leaked on the floor. I definitely would NEVER recommend this property. "

"I stayed here at least 10 times, while working nearby. Twice I’ve had to stay in different places due to no available vacancy, and both times I was reminded how much I truly appreciated the hospitality, warm welcome, privacy and convenience of staying at Loyd Hall. During my 3 months of regular stays here, it began to feel like a home away from home. Priced fairly for the many amenities and accommodating hosts. I’ve made special requests a couple times and was met with prompt response...

"Not a lot of places close but restaurants within a 10-15 minute drive. The town of Bunkie itself had quite a few restaurants. Pool has no water so kids kinda bummed. Breakfast was minimal. Waffles fruit cereal. Room was decent and clean. Staff was friendly. "

"The room smell like marijuana. there was cockroaches and ants in the rooms. Otherwise, for the price of the room, it’s good."

"The rooms could definitely use a thorough cleaning. Our room felt sticky, and the bathroom needed a deep clean as well."

"There was no lighting in the room. No hangers in the closet, they were hanging on a rack on the desk. You could not use them. The bathroom was large."

"This is a nice place to stay. This is the second time that I've stayed here. My only complaint is that there was no juice out for breakfast. Didn't find out until my last day that it was available but the containers were apparently broken so they didn't have it out. You had to go ask for it. This is an easy fix and I'm sure they will have it fixed soon."

"I knew it was downhill when I couldn’t even get into the room. The door was jammed. Had to have the front desk staff open the door. The room had a faint smell of cigarettes. The bathroom was not clean! Hair all over the toilet seat. Sitting water and soap scum in the bathtub. The lamp bases were dirty. Just overall a very dirty room. I’m very disappointed with my stay. The other reviews were misleading. The staff was pleasant the only good thing about this stay."
