"We really enjoyed having such a comfortable "base of operations" for our stay in the Flat Rock/Hendersonville area! Each time we returned to The Lodge we were greeted with "Welcome Home" by the staff at the front desk and it truly did feel like we were coming "home" each time. We would recommend it to anyone and look forward to possibly returning ourselves."

"The hotel is conveniently located off of Interstate 26 (but far enough from the highway that you never hear the traffic). It’s ten minutes to downtown Hendersonville, 25-35 minutes to downtown Asheville, and close to the myriad summer camps in the area. I have stayed here a few times when picking up nor dropping off my son for Camp Pinnacle. I like it for its cleanliness, ease of getting to and from, the quality staff, and the reasonable prices."

"While this is an older hotel, the rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff were also very helpful and nice. I called ahead of time to see if they could put our room near other guests who we were coming to see and were already there, but we would be arriving for a late check-in. The lady we spoke to on the phone was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, the gentleman who checked us in was also extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious. "We had a great stay. The suite with 2 queens and a pull out couch fit our family perfectly!"

"Clean hotel and room. Needed a place to sleep overnight so didn’t really use much of the facility. Breakfast was ok. They had make your own waffles, an egg omelet, yogurt, some fruit, muffins, juice, coffee, tea. I would stay again was reasonable"

"I paid in advance on-line for a room with king size bed and instead was given one with only a queen size bed. After discovering this when all the luggage was in the room, I complained and was finally given another room on 2nd floor with king size bed as originally ordered. However, there's no elevator and steps are outside. Had to drag multiple pieces of luggage up the stairs. Many cosmetic issues with both rooms (i.e., chips, paint, etc.). Had to get up early for flight, little breakfast...
