"This establishment was by far one of the nicest places I have ever stayed... It felt more like renting a house than being at a hotel... Mostly because we were the only people there due to bad weather. The property is very remote, with a 15 to 30 minute drive to go to Walmart or dinner. (A lot of places close at 9:00 p.m., so get there early.) The property was very quiet in the morning, which allowed for spending time outside and enjoying nature... Especially from the enclosed deck. "Everything was great. Location is great, right across from the beach, on the main drag, but far enough away from busy area. Room was clean and nicely decorated and very roomy with amenities being great. The beds were comfortable with comfy pillows. I think 2 extra blankets in the room would have been nice. Breakfast was ok but hours should be until 9:30, 7 days a week. Staff was very nice and friendly. Parking on site and very adequate."

Leaking toilet supply line (was fixed later on first day), water dripping from ceiling during rains, gap under entry door an inch high that could allow insects entry, cold water shower, slow draining bathroom sink, parking was on the street and first come first serve, television connection failed multiple times. "Parking lot seemed a little sketchy because a professional looking police camera was set up in parking lot. Needs remodeling and needs more staff. Needs new beds and bedding. Stay on 4 th floor if you want to avoid so much noise. Walls are thin. Breakfast was also a 2 star. The price seemed really good but for 50 a day more could have been much better and more centrally located. That all being said I wont be staying at this particular Laquinta again."

"The property is located perfectly for beach activities. It is off the main traffic way so it is quiet yet just mere steps to the beach. The rooms are cleanish but our room was not made up despite our request."
