"I did not like the fact that Hampton Inn, Galveston Tx, charges parking fees of $20 per night. That was maybe was a hidden cost unknown to Expedia. I was able to get the night desk to waive the charges, thankfully. LaQuinta in San Antonio also charged me nightly for outside parking which I was dumb enough not to notice until after checkout.
