"The hotel smelled from the moment we walked into the lobby. The room was worse than the smell oh the entire hotel. The floors, bedding, refrigerator, chairs and walls, every inch of the rooms was nasty/dirty. The furniture and refrigerator was rusty and stains on the sofa chair. The room looked nothing like the advertised pictures. This was the worse room I have ever seen in my life. Thankfully I was able to find an available hotel near by. Me and daughter didn’t unpack we left within 20 minutes...

"This establishment was by far one of the nicest places I have ever stayed... It felt more like renting a house than being at a hotel... Mostly because we were the only people there due to bad weather. The property is very remote, with a 15 to 30 minute drive to go to Walmart or dinner. (A lot of places close at 9:00 p.m., so get there early.) The property was very quiet in the morning, which allowed for spending time outside and enjoying nature... Especially from the enclosed deck. "Room was clean with the exception of the hairs that were in the beds when we arrived. The TV’s did not work and had to get service for this and to fix the broken door so it would close. Also had to have them reset both beds and then the fire alarms went off multiple times anyone showered or the balcony door was open too long. When we called, they did take us seriously and attempted to correct these things but was inconvenienced with so much staff in and out. We had 5 people in the room at one...

"We arrived at 12pm and asked if we could leave our vehicle while my family and I went to the beach, the guy said he would call when the room was ready but he never did. We were at the beach until 4:30 and wanted to check in but the guy left and said he won’t be back till 5pm. A lot of other upset guest wanting to check in and couldn’t. We were tired and needed to shower. The blow dryer in the room didn’t work and I kept smelling electrical burn."

"We arrived at the hotel and was told it was canceled. We didn't receive an email or any notification of the cancelation. We had nowhere else to go. They scrambled to find us a room but the only room available didn't have AC. It's the middle of summer in Texas. They did give us a discount on the room with no AC but it smelled like mold & stuff & extremely hot."
