"The Peppertree Inn is an older property, however, it is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and Casey (met at check-in), was very helpful. There is an elevator so getting up to the higher floors was easy (there are 7 total). Checking out was convenient with a locked box on the outside of the office. Tahoe City is super nice with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Safeway grocery store is close by with a Starbucks coffee station inside. We had friends staying at Star Harbor so the...

Sometimes I have to check in a little early and sometimes I have to check in a little late and they are always willing to work with me and are always courteous while doing so. Old Town Pizza is right around the corner and you are missing out if you don’t get some. Parking lot is nice and the rooms are modernized. Can’t beat for the price and convenience."
