Better to visit other beaches a bit further, that one was very small.

Local beach was covered with seaweed and stank

Seaweed problem awful, despite everyone's best efforts to remove. When machines are moving the seaweed, lots of flies appear. I wouldn't come to Playa Del Carmen for the beach, as it is not possible to use.
