"Good location, with a 15 minute walk into the heart of Madrid and where all the shops and restaurants are. However, there are many other shops and cafes en-route. The hotel is clean, has a good vibe and classic rooms are fairly decent size. The gym is small but serves the purpose, the adjacent swimming pool is small (did not use it) and is adjacent to the deck chairs in a pleasant sun area. Nearby public transport is excellent, within easy reach and allows you to reach various ends of Madrid...

"Check in was super easy - fill out info on line, submit document pictures and you're done. Email was sent with access codes to the building and the room - easier than carrying keys around. Place is very clean, nicely appointed, modern, with individual AC/heating in rooms. Everything works nicely. Great location between 2 metro stops, close to Atocha train station, museums, Plaza del Sol. Also has lockers for your luggage downstairs, if you staying in Madrid for a little after check out. "Excellent stay. This was our last leg of vacation so we wanted to go out with a really nice hotel and this didn't disappoint. Great location. The rooms had a steamer to help ensure outfits were ready, coffee and tea stations, well stocked mini fridge, and food on site. The staff was great from the moment we arrived until we said our goodbyes. All around great experience. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Casa du Soleil! We booked the triple room, it was incredibly spacious, providing more than enough comfort. The staff were so kind, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We also found the common areas, especially the kitchen, to be so useful during our trip. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Madrid and would definitely love to go back again!"

"Hotel seemed older but was clean. It wasnt super quiet but also was not loud either. We were able to sleep with little interruption. The location was okay. 20 minute walk to the tourist area and main sites. About a 10 minute walk to the train station. We felt safe in the hotel. They had locks and staff at the desk. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"It is well located for a visit to the Reina Sofia and the Prato. There are a lot of staff but they do not seem well organized or effective as a team. A few were quite helpful. One was out and out rude. The breakfast is quite standard but the coffee machines malfunction regularly. The decor is strange, perhaps aiming to look trendy. I liked the availability of filtered water to save on water bottles."
