"We had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean. The owners of this B&B were very hospitable and attentive. Special attention was given to the breakfast experience. Home cooked pancakes, cakes, etc and homemade jams, chocolate and sea salt caramel sauces were delicious. The yard including the furniture and children playground is a little bit outdated but had it's charm. But under supervision its very enjoyable for a child. "What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. "La Pavie is a lovely place to stay in Dinan. Catherine is warm and welcoming, and the whole house has a calm, relaxed feel. Breakfast is excellent - the quality of the produce is great. It is served in the shared dining/breakfast room. Part of the history of the house is reflected in the multiple tea choices which was a really nice touch. The location is perfect. Right in the heart of the old town and opposite a beautiful church. There's a quiet charm to the place that makes it easy to unwind...

"A gorgeous property, down a long driveway and far from any boise other than birds and the breeze. There are ruins of a large manor/chateau (?) on the property that formed the view from our room and fascinating to wander through. The hostess is lovely and the breakfast delicious."
