"I arrived in NYC earlier than planned, so booked the Marriott for 2 nights before planning to transfer to my other hotel. I was so happy with the hotel and location, I cancelled my reservation at a more expensive hotel that I had originally booked for my trip. The location is great for food options and the subway, rooms are clean and have everything you need and the bathroom is great with ample vanity space for toiletries and make-up which is becoming rare. "I paid for a king size bed room and when I got to the hotel they gave me a double bed which I did not ask for and I was told it was the only room left due to “unexpected maintenance “. Basically if I didn’t take the room I would’ve had no other choice. And I paid for a king size so I don’t know how I feel about that."

"My carpets were sticky, there was excess mold in the shower, the wall paper was stapled to the wall with mold on it, the hot water was hard to access in the shower, and I was told I would have a room with a view, and I did not. Although the staff was kind, that was about the only plus. I was very disappointed that my room was that dirty; I paid $500 for 2 nights. Absolutely not worth the money. Next time, I will stay at a holiday inn."
