Visitors (esp Americans) should know the owners speak little to no English, so come with your google translate or try and learn a little Italian prior. One major thing I learned in Italy is the importance of communicating your arrival plan with your host prior to arrival as many establishments are family owned and operated. "Bathroom could really be a lot cleaner. It’s a walk-up to the room on 2nd floor, but not bad unless you have a lot of luggage. The room itself is comfortable and the kitchen facilities are pretty good. I missed having a window in the room I could look out of, but also appreciated the peace and quiet. Can’t complain much about the kitchen, it has most of what you need, but there should really be a wine bottle opener. This is Italy after all. :)"
