"Don’t count on transport arrangements being completed correctly. Got to airport and no shuttle transport had been set up even though I had an email confirming arrangements had been made. We had to get a taxi at the airport. Then they tried to charge us for the shuttle. Never even offered a verbal apology:( "

"We honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at the Oberoi Beach Resort. From the start everything felt so special and effortless - we genuinely could not fault a thing. What made the experience unforgettable was the people. Every single member of staff was so warm, kind, and attentive, always going above and beyond. The resort itself is stunning beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to completely switch off. The daily activities were fabulous and added so much to the experience. Sculpture making and painting class were our favourites. We loved going to breakfast every morning, the menu is divine. What makes this place even more special to us is that we got engaged here. It could not have been a more perfect. Thank you Aditya for helping my partner to pull it off! Also thank you to Regini, Harsha, and Rachel - the sweetest housekeeping team ever. "Our room was clean and very well equipped- our thanks to Geetanjalee. All the staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived and this continued throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent with so many options available for all dietary requirements. The setting is superb with spectacular views over various pools towards the ocean - and the sunsets were amazing."

"We stayed for 8 nights as a family of four and found the experience mixed, overall below expectations for a 4-star hotel. Positives: staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. Food quality was good at the start of the stay. However, several issues impacted our experience: Rooms felt dated and in need of renovation. The air conditioning leaked, wardrobe fittings were loose with rusty hangers, and shelving was uneven. Space was very limited, especially in the children’s room. Housekeeping was inconsistent (not enough towels, water not always replenished), and work was carried out in the room one day without prior notice, leaving a strong smell. The advertised complimentary water activities were not usable due to tides, despite being listed daily. Over 8 days we couldn’t use any. The pool area also felt under-maintained at times. As a vegetarian family, food options became repetitive and limited. The Deck restaurant had no vegetarian mains at lunch, and even on Mauritian nights there were missing vegetarian accompaniments. Also disappointing that water is not included at dinner on half board. Overall, good staff but the hotel didn’t meet expectations, particularly for families."

"Hotel was good and staff excellent. I tried to cancel day 6 of our stay, I gave them 5 days notice that my flight was for Jan. 25th. there accounting office would not refund day 6. I will not stay or or encourage anyone else to stay there because of there attitude. It may cost them more in lost sales than the 1 night not refunded. "
