It is on the main island so you don't need to pay extra to come off the atolls. It feels like old time tahiti, with shows a couple nights a week. "We had a great stay at Havai'i lodge. It's a beautiful and quiet property in a cul-de-sac and the place is comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. It's shared with another room, but since we were out and about all day and only had our coffee and breakfast at the place, it wasn't a problem. We recommend having a car on Raiatea as it's much easier to get around this beautiful island. The host helped arrange a car for us, which was nice."
