"I would give them 6 stars if I could. The staff was awesome. Brittany, Daniel and Raymond at the front desk absolutely saved my trip. My return flight was cancelled for 2 days due to bad weather and they went to great extents to keep me in the hotel, so that I did not have to go somewhere else- even though my current room had already booked out - as I was supposed to leave on Monday. All of the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is very upbeat, the waterfront views are amazing and the food at their restaurant was excellent. The rooms are very clean and modern. Very close to the beach. I liked it so much that my wife and I have booked an extended vacation with them coming up. Highly recommended."

"La propreté est le point fort de cet hôtel, le personnel est bête, les frais supplémentaires de 45$ par jour À TOUS LES JOURS pour des services que l’on utilise pas sont exagérés (chaises sur la plages, bicyclettes qui ne sont JAMAIS disponibles) L’emplacement est correct, mais un peu loin des restaurants de Pompano. La plage est belle. Il n’y a pas de concierge pour nous aider à réserver des activités et les employés ne se donnent pas la peine de nous donner des conseils…"

" Run down, it’s more of a hotel where people live than where you should stay. I asked for a hair dryer as the rooms are not equipped with them, and o was told by the staff member that it was the 2nd time in her 5yrs of employment someone asked for one and that the hotel didn’t own any. If you are staying without a vehicle (we flew in) you will need to urber to any shopping areas you wish to go to as nothing is close by. "

"Room was very clean. My coffee maker and curtains needed repair. Pool chairs and other outside furniture very worn. Pool itself looked clean but pool area is very unattractive so I never used it. No plants or decor. Just the beating sun. I didn’t get entry instructions but someone did answer phone in middle of night and help me get in. They had sent them to Expedia but I used Hotels.com; not sure if that was the reason. There appears to never be staff on site. One has to search for public entrance to get to ocean. Not a direct walk. Both north and south about 1 block on the main drag and you can find entrances. Hotel is not near any food or shops. Ok if you have a car. Not great if you do not. Hotel located about 0.5 mi north of the main beach area with the pier. I know one room was locked out (lock broke) and waited 2 hours door get in. Another room had terrible cockroaches. I thought that I got why I paid for. Next time I will pay more to have a better location. "

"Nobody got back to me about the code to enter the room. I finally called at ten minutes after 4:00pm and was lucky enough to get a real person who finally gave me the code. No hot water and the microwave worked intermittently. I called several times and left messages and nobody got back to me. I had no issues with Hotels.com"

"We had a wonderful vacation at the Beachcomber Resort! The hotel staff, from check-in to the restaurant, pool and beach attendants, bartenders, etc. were friendly and solicitous. The grounds were beautiful, with two pools and a recreation area with cornhole and ping-pong. It was cool the first two days of our stay, but we still enjoyed a swim in the pool which was heated to about 80 degrees. We enjoyed happy hour at the bar every night along with the musical entertainment. The food was great at the bar and at Deep restaurant. The view from our balcony was awesome, overlooking the resort and the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel is older, and while the rooms have been renovated and are very comfortable, the bathroom is dated but has been refreshed and is compact and efficient with strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. The Beachcomber is an oasis in the midst of condominium row and had a more intimate, community vibe rather than that of a hotel chain. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!"

"Bed was just ok pillows were horrible pool towels were always empty. Front desk staff wasn’t pleasant but the morning breakfast ladies were always happy and helpful "
