First day when I arrived at the property, even although Expedia gave me a document stating how much I was meant to pay the property, I had to pay them more than what was on the Expedia paperwork.
Based on the Expedia ad, I thought the hotel was on the beach, but there are two sides to the hotel, which is not mention in the ad, the east side, which where you check in also on the Beach side, and the west side, which is on the opposite side of the street. I was given a room on the west side which meant I had to take my bags back to my car and go over to the other side of the road, not something you want to do after a 4 hour drive. Then I got to my room. I saw the couch and what looked like a wardrobe but I couldn’t see a bed. Upon calling reception, I was told that the bed had to be pulled down from what it looked like the wardrobe doors. Again, not something you want to be doing after a long trip. Also, the cabinet that houses the wardrobe and drawers in my room was broken, the bed head was broken, there was a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom. I’m not sure from the previous guest or where it was from. The shower didn’t work properly the first time I used it it was extremely hot, scalding. The other times it was cold. When I was checking out, it seems one of the guest checking in hard a worse experience that me because he was demanding his money back, and he was moving to another hotel. Such a pity the area seems nice, but I’m sorry I wouldn’t be staying here again.
