Old Pier, Port Bannatyne In the late 19th/early 20th century, the Isle of Bute was a very popular tourist-resort - paddle-steamers from Glasgow docked frequently at the piers at Port Bannatyne, Rothesay, Craigmore and Kilchattan.

Caravan is lovely and comfortable, though can be noisy in stormy weather, though otherwise it's a quiet location. Drive is quite steep for parking. Fantastic views over Loch Long. Access drive is a single road, is quite steep in places and it can be tricky to find the caravan.
