Then when they finally allowed me to check in, because the internet was down so was the debit/credit machine for incedentals and pet fee.. i was then demanded to give them all the cash I had on hand or else I couldnt check in... not given a solution like here's your room you reserved months ago.. come to...

"This is a horrible place to stay unless you are chainsmoker or drug addict or something. There is no elevator, hallway smells so smokey it's hard to breathe. We were given room with restaurants exhausts outside so it was noisy and unable to open windows. Rooms were humid, extremely small and feels suffocating. Washroom sink was clogged, towels were dirty. I lost my sleep after noticing few spiders beside bed and spider webs on ceiling. Air-condition is right above head and there was no headboard...

"Hallway did not smell very good. Room dated, dirty, damaged, and had mosquitos inside. Amenities not as advertised. Staff was very helpful in trying to find another suite. We ended up cancelling our reservation. The staff and manager accommodated our request."

"It was such a clean and amazing place to stay for such a cheap rate. The staff were so kind to us and the free breakfast was really good with all the options given. This is a great place to stay if you’re on a budget and want somewhere that is quiet, clean, affordable and nearby some good food places."

"I stayed here for 3 nights and had no issues during my stay. The room was clean and included a kitchen, which was convenient. I had limited interaction with the staff since I was out exploring most days, but the front desk was always staffed and I felt safe as a solo female traveller. The rooms are a bit dated, but the location and price made up for it. Everything I needed was within walking distance, making it a great option for either a short or longer stay."

"The property looked run down from the outside but my room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I appreciated the free breakfast and the location close to YVR and the park. The only concern I had was the shuttle: I had reserved my spot the night before and the shuttle was a little late and the driver barely waited for passengers- he was on and off the property in less than a minute -so it would have been really easy to miss entirely if you weren’t on your toes."

"Clean, comfortable rooms but a little noisy at times in the evening given proximity to Vancouver airport. Front desk staff was very efficient and responsive but not overly friendly. Perhaps not a totally fair comparison given we'd just came from a long stay at a similar hotel in Tokyo. Also, apparently there's an unwritten rule at this hotel that if you leave your room after 11AM you may not have your room cleaned unless you call the front desk. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Airport...
