"Outstanding lodge in a nature reserve with great facilities and friendly helpful staff. The chalet accommodation was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped, and the location in the nature reserve was great. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Only stayed one night, but wish we had stayed at least one more. Having said that, it was not cheap, but good value for what was on offer."

"Was really unimpressed upon check-in to find our room was poorly cleaned upon the last guest’s checkout. The floors were filthy, the windows were dirty and smudged, there were dead bugs in the windowsills and there was even water left in the kettle and the coffee machine from the last guest. We literally had to walk around our room in shoes for the entire eight days we were there, as we wouldn’t dare walk around in bare feet even after the floors were cleaned for us. "We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom Villa. It was perfect for our family of 7. Hotel staff was wonderful. Great looking property and fabulous pool area. Location is less than ten minutes from central Port Douglas. Access to the beach. We will definitely return for a longer stay!"
