"Loved this quaint, well-equipped motel in the heart of Port Douglas, where everything was in walking distance. The room was large with a nice kitchenette. There was also a barbecue and outdoor kitchen that was well-equipped& laundry room. We may have used this if there weren’t so many great restaurants in town. "The staff were generally cheerful, helpful, and responsive. We had problems with our TV and they managed to replace it with a smart TV the next day. Some annoyances: The advertised “Garden View” was dirt, tree roots, sparse grass and the guest services building. We asked for additional coffee pods but were told we would have to pay an additional &1.00 per pod. The toilet seat would not stay up (only a male problem). "
