It was a nice stay and decent price in a nice location. Nothing epic about this stay and there’s no breakfast there. Heard there was but turns out they stopped awhile back. I recommend it regardless if you just need a shower & sleep.

This was a good nights sleep but on an old mattress. Carpets are old and as such, are hard to clean well. Bring slippers. The bathroom was spotless and so that made for a pleasant experience. The restaurant looked good but we had other plans. Parking was very convenient – right in front of the unit. A/C was not needed but the heating worked well and quietly.

We had an excellent stay at the Harbourview Motel and Port Hawkesbury was a great location to stay before heading out to drive the Cabot Trail. We had booked one of the motel rooms online, but upon arrival the owner kindly informed us that there had been a cancellation and upgraded us to Room #1 in the Inn free of charge. If you are staying in the Inn you are able to pull your car up directly to the front door which makes unloading/loading very convenient. The check-out process was also extremely convenient as we simply had to leave our key in your room and leave. We did not visit the onsite cafe during our stay, so I cannot speak to that experience. Finally, just note the nearby streets are extremely steep, so take caution when driving to/from the Motel, especially if you are visiting during poor weather conditions.

We enjoyed our stay at the Harbourview Motel. It is simple accommodations, but clean, quiet, comfy and convenient. Enjoyed the nearby walk along the waterfront and loved hearing the train go by.
