"Great time and great location for July 4th activities!"

"If you’re looking for the bare minimum then okay. The bed is hard as a rock. It’s very dark and dated. The smell sometimes is like a sewer. There is no refrigerator in the room. Breakfast is in a dark basement. The parking is awful. 3 hotels in a row and not enough parking. Save your money tbh."

"The Black female front desk clerk was one of the nicest front desk clerk I've met at a hotel. She went above and beyond her way to accommodate us with early luggage drop-off to possible early check-in to events going on for the fourth of July. I'm glad we stayed at this hotel. It turned out to be a good choice."

"Very meh hotel. A bit run down. Not clean as I would have expected. Front desk staff were not inhospitable but underwhelming. The shower was tepid. The thermostat had a defective button so you had to really jam it to work. It was convenient to Park Slope though. Probably will not stay there next time."

"My stay was great, only had one issue you, they forgot to inform you parking is not free."

"Stay away. I know it’s not supposed to be a 5 star hotel, it’s an older motel - BUT, the room was filthy. Dead bugs, stains on the chairs, floor, pillow cases. Ac unit had mold on the cover. Cannot blame the manager on-site, he’s a young kid with only so much he can do. If it wasn’t the fact that we drive 2 hours and it was a holiday weekend we would have walked out after being in the room for 30 seconds"

"The Aiden Best Western @ Newark Airport was a great surprise. It’s very non-descript from the outside, just a plain looking building. But I step inside and the lobby has a nice waiting area with a to-go market of coffee and snacks and just down the hall, a full restaurant and bar. The rooms are huge and immaculate. And, they run a free shuttle to the airport every half hour. Literally couldn’t ask for more… and at a seriously good price!"

"This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel; the first time was just for one night, so it was fine. However, during this July 4th stay, the internet in my room didn't work; despite complaining three times, they never fixed it, and I couldn't use my laptop. We were also without power from 9:30 PM Saturday until 9:00 AM; during that time, there were no lights or air conditioning, and the temperature was 90°F—nothing electrical worked.
