This is a superb place to stay with sincere service, fantastic breakfasts and lovely environment. The room was very comfortable and the hotel decorated in gorgeous wallpapers. Loved it and would definitely stay there again. Really would recommend a stay.

This was a stop as we travelled across England and one of our nicest places. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The room was comfortable and cheery. And the breakfast was delicious. We would stay again.

Nice room, felt safe and cozy with everything I needed to hand. The breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced - service was slightly chaotic but I found it endearing. Just leave plenty of time. Great location as an easy walk to the sea front and shops etc. Would def stay again.

Don’t hesitate.

Florence House hotel is a fantastic place to stay. We only wished it was for longer. It’s a boutique hotel and everything is just perfect. The room was a joy to stay in and the staff were just brilliant.

Great spot to enjoy Portsmouth/Southsea

The room was lovely, we had everything we needed. Good breakfast choices for vegetarians (and non). Great location between Southsea sea front and Albert Road (for restaurants etc), plus walkable to the train station and central Portsmouth.

Well situated

Hotel is well situated close to the beach. We stayed at the end of the summer and so the seasons wear and tear starting to show. Paid for breakfast but was notified that “speciality coffee” (from a machine) would be an extra charge which was surprising. Staff were friendly and attentive
