Hotel is nice but room very smal ,bathroom and shower not good , very bad internet , i asked fir upgrade if available the answer was if you pay yes but as you are expedia member not at all wiith a bad way reply as i was begging Parking so expensive 35 euro per day at this hotel !!!

The property is beautiful and convenient for walking to most places of interest.Wenceslas square is 5-7 minutes walk and old town square is 15-20mins.Airport transfers were easy to book through Expedia.The staff in the hotel communicated well through Expedia in booking it. It rained through out our time in Prague so we were grateful for the central location and spent a lot more time in the hotel than usual.Breakfast was excellent.Particularly the fruits (watermelon's) were excellent.There was omelette station too.we ordered takeaway food one night from one of the many places around.Bed and bathroom were good but carpet might need a good clean or change.tea and coffee making facility in room.

Everything but check-in was perfect. the check-in was at 3p, which i understood, but many times, the hotel accommodates you earlier if they have rooms ready. the clerk i asked if that is a possibility, his name was Lucas, said i have to wait. so i sat in the lobby, there i noticed that other guests are given rooms before 3p, and also i checked on line if there are rooms available for the night, they were. i asked Lucas two times, if he has a room ready, the response was no. i booked the hotel for 9 nights, not one night here or there. Lukas waited to the last minute, to 3p to give me a room, and the type of the room was not what i booked, so they had the other room, i booked, immediately available. Weird. I had unpleasant feeling about it, i did not expect it from 5 stars hotel.

The Grandium was a really lovely hotel at first glance. The rooms were nice although one of them didn't have the twin beds I requested. The lobby and dining area was really nice and clean. The garden restaurant had incredible food and the staff who served us were nice and polite, however service was a little slow. The other staff at the desk were quite abrupt. This attitude seemed to spread through other areas for example with regards to the dressing gowns and slippers which had such stern warnings against theft, we were too afraid of wearing them in the room. The breakfast was a little disappointing particularly as there were no labels on any of the foods which was difficult with dietary requirements, I would also say it's dangerous for anyone with allergies. Similarly, other guests were just mixing up the spoons across different items which contaminated them. None of the staff seemed concerned by this. While nice, I probably wouldn't have wanted to be there for longer nor would I stay there again.

Lovely hotel conveniently located. Very comfortable superking size bed. Room was at the back of the hotel and a little on the small side but perfectly adequate. Our neighbours spent a lot of time slamming their bedroom doors which made a loud noise and shook the bed. Staff were very helpful and lovely!!
